Malefic is the culmination of years of blood and sweat in defiance of conformity. Our goal is to abandon the typical cliches and traditional genre boundaries within the black metal community to offer a sound that is the combination of all the best elements. Blending the emotion of black metal with the brutalness of thrash and death, to the technical prowess of prog, we strive to appeal to fans across all genres. We love tight riffs, tasty leads and relatable lyricism. Since the release of our debut album IMPERMANENCE, we have received much praise across the world. We plan to build on that energy and propel ourselves as far as we can take it. We are already working on a follow up and hope to make it over to Europe or South America by next year.
